Take note of the New Coffee Brand in Town: Notes Coffee Bar

I had the pleasure of creating a new logo and brand identity for a Norwalk-based artisan coffee company, Notes Coffee Bar, founded by four friends with a deep love for specialty coffee. Rooted in the idea of ‘From Seed to Cup: A Highly Curated Coffee Experience,’ the new look reflects their passion and the joy of sharing truly exceptional coffee with rich flavor notes.


The branding process started with hand-drawn sketches, capturing the spirit and vision behind the coffee company. Those early ideas were developed into digital renderings, with thoughtful attention to the founders’ inspiration: their Latino roots and their dream of creating a coffee bar that could also serve as a hub for music events and community gatherings.
After exploring five different design drafts, we landed on a final logo that felt both personal and versatile. To support their growth, we also created a full style guide—making it easy for them to expand their brand across packaging, signage, and future event promotions.
